NSW Piano Tuition is highly experienced in prepare our students for music exams. Both the teacher and the students should make this decision together. If you are preparing for exams, here are some things that should be ticked:

  • Confident about the pieces.
  • Can answer questions about the pieces: composer, key, meaning of the piece, form, etc.
  • Know your scales.
  • Had aural training.
  • Had sight reading training.

A good teacher should prepare you in all these aspects! If any one of the above is uncertain make sure you speak or ask your teacher about it!

If you are playing for fun and leisure, you should also speak to your teacher about what you want to play and what you want to achieve within a week or a month.
